At 9 a.m. on September 3, the launching ceremony of the Hefei Intelligent Networked Vehicle Demonstration Line was held in Baohe District, Hefei City. Anhui's first autonomous vehicle 5G demonstration line was also officially opened. JAC iEVS4, JAC light truck, and Ankai Bus participated in the launch ceremony on behalf of JAC, providing test ride experience.

5G autonomous driving is a "connected" autonomous driving, which is a revolutionary evolution compared to the traditional "single-vehicle" driverless. The Hefei Demonstration Line project is to create a V2X-based intelligent network connection demonstration area. The autonomous vehicles on the demonstration line can realize intelligent driving through technologies such as video perception, data collection, edge computing, and signal transmission.
