In the use of forklifts, we need to judge the damages of the parts to identify the impact on the forklifts. The following is the method to judge the damages of the parts:

1. Impact on performance and operating mechanism: Although some parts can complete the use function after damages, the performance is reduced, such as the transmission gear can still transmit the predetermined torque and speed after the wear occurs, but the gap is too large making noise increases and the efficiency decreases, so that the stability of the transmission will be destroyed early, and it must be repaired or replaced according to the degree of wear.

2. Effect on efficiency: When the parts are worn out, it will cause a decrease in efficiency. The wear of parts such as cylinders will affect the efficiency of the engine. Whether to repair or replace certain parts should be decided according to the specific conditions of wear.

3. Although the wear degree of general parts has exceeded the tolerance, but it has not exceeded the tolerance of the next level, it can continue to be used.

4. Economics of parts repair method: Under the premise of ensuring repair quality, the ratio of repair cost to service life after repair is lower than the ratio of manufacturing (or outsourcing) cost of new parts after replacement to service life of new parts after replacement.

5. The parts cannot complete the intended use function due to wear. For example, the clutch loses its power transmission function, the hydraulic parts cannot hit the predetermined pressure, and the cam valve system cannot maintain the predetermined movement law. If the above situation occurs, it must be replaced or repaired.
